Project Course

A highlight of the four-year program is the Senior Systems Development Project in which teams of students develop an application for a sponsoring organization. This course is a flagship to the ACS academic curriculum, building on the department strong courses in data base; foundation and system; programming, web-based programming, and integrating technology; and requirement, design and software engineering.

Past project sponsors include government, industry, and universities.

Every year many past project sponsors and alumni return to the University to celebrate Project Day with the current project teams and the department. On Project Day, current project teams will host demonstration of their systems and project completion seminars.
